Hey everyone,
Long-time lurker, first-time poster here! I've been doing my research for months and finally have my 40-gallon breeder cycled and stable. Salinity is spot on, temps are consistent, and my CUC is thriving. I've got a decent light (Aqua Illumination Prime 16HD) and good flow from a couple of powerheads.
I'm super excited to start adding some corals, but the sheer variety out there is a bit overwhelming! I want to start with something relatively forgiving but still visually appealing. I'm leaning towards easier LPS or softies.
My precise question is: What are your top 3 ragdoll hit recommendations for hardy, beginner-friendly corals that would thrive in a 40-gallon breeder with AI Prime 16HD lighting, and why?
Any advice on placement or specific care tips for your suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance for the help!
