Sudden Algae Bloom in My Reef Tank – What Am I Missing?

Hey everyone, I’ve been running my reef tank for about 6 months now and things were pretty stable until recently. Over the past two weeks, I’ve started getting a noticeable algae bloom on the rocks and glass, even though I haven’t changed much in my routine.

My parameters seem okay (nitrates around 5 ppm, phosphates low but detectable), and I do regular water changes every week. Lighting schedule is about 8 hours daily, and I’m not overfeeding as far as I can tell. I also have a small cleanup crew, but they don’t seem to be keeping up.

Has anyone experienced something similar around this stage of a tank? Could it be related to tank maturity, or should I be looking into something specific like flow, lighting intensity, or hidden nutrient sources? Any advice would be really appreciated!
